About Me

My Name is Harry Boerger and I was born on March 15, 1938 in a farm house near Ft. Loramie, Ohio. My parents were Albert G. and Catherine E. "Katy" Barhorst, Boerger. This farm is located at the corner of Boerger & Cardo Roads, Cynthian Twp., Shelby County, Ohio (about 1/2 way between Willowdell & Newport). My parents were farmers, good hard-working Roman Catholics, both were of German Heritage.

As most families during the depression, we also, didn't have a lot of worldly possessions but did get by with God's help. As I became a little older, about 12 or so, the war was over and the economy was apparently picking up. That is when I first found out about auctions. What I found was mostly junk, but there were a lot of old photos. Well today, some 60 years later, I still have most of those old photos and am placing them on this blog for all to see.

I hope that you enjoy my work. If you would like to read more about me, click here. I would also like to thank several people that have made this all possible, click here.
